Solus Productions Ltd was founded in 2009    by Director Tony Kearney and Producer Jim  Webster.  Solus are an independent television  production  company who specialise in bold,  original stories for  UK and international  audiences.

Jim and Tony have a combined wealth of TV  production experience spanning factual,  scripted  and factual entertainment series. They  are driven by  a shared burning desire to tell  impactful stories and  enthral audiences. 

Since 2009 Solus have been nominated four  times  for a Celtic Media Award. They were  nominated for  an RTS Award for  'Lorraine  Kelly’s Hogmanay' and  won an RTS Awards for  the second series of Elaine C  Smith’s Burdz Eye  View. They have just secured an  international  deal with Amazon for one of their  landmark  documentaries ‘McQueen Of Scots’ about  the  late fashion designer Alexander McQueen’s  connections to Scotland.
