A new short film from Writer / Director Ian Waugh
Georgios has come to Scotland from Greece, forced to look for work outside his country. The search has brought him further and further north, until he has ended up in a remote area of the Highlands. Even though this part of the world has seen its share of wandering ‘incomers’, Georgios stands out here.
Surviving hand to mouth as a traveller, Georgios digs peat for food and board on Bronte and William’s rundown croft, his presence creating an uncomfortable triangle of dependence. A ghost in a foreign land, hidden from the life he left behind, Georgios discovers the difference between disappearance and self-annihilation.
